We train personnel who aspire to be nursing instructors or managers who leads practical nursing practices, and personnel who aspires to conduct nursing education clinically or at schools.

　In order to support medicine which is advancing every single day and promote individual health, not only is advanced expertise required but a mind to pursue “why” is also needed. Good nursing practices are achieved when you take questions, such as those you encounter in clinical practice as a nurse along with whether the nursing care you provided was appropriate and undergo a process of uncovering the answers thereto. Moreover, in order to aim for advanced levels in health guidance and public health promotion in the community as a health nurse, in addition to realizing better education and research in the educational field, we need to cultivate our own intelligence and logical thinking abilities. To realize this, why don’t you polish your skills in the science of nursing and educate yourself on the fundamentals of research and education via our master’s program, which is a higher degree of education?

　In order to learn logical thinking and the applications thereof, you need to master the methods thereof through a short-term intensive course. At our graduate school, we can provide you with guidance from a multitude of occupations, as an abundant research environment such as Fukuoka Dental College and Fukuoka Dental College Hospital is in-place. Particularly in the field of oral medicine, which has garnered attention in our super-aged society, pioneering nursing research has been conducted, which is going to be the area of research that will support future medicine in Japan.

　Our faculty will work as one to provide a research environment for each and every one of our graduate students and provide guidance accordingly. We wish to not only obtain existing knowledge but also to create knowledge ourselves and try to improve by learning from others together by your side in an initiative of spirit and curiosity as pioneers in this new field that is evolving as we speak.
