Large collection of dental books published in Japan
To offer a comfortable educational and research environment for staffs and students, the college library has collected more than 152 thousand volumes of books and journals. The collection covers all kinds of books related to the dental science and oral health, published after the establishment of the college. Today, our collection is one of the largest of dental literature in Japan. In addition, the college library puts a great effort in improving audiovisual aids, the DVD and Video collections. The library is open from Monday to Friday 9:00-20:00, and Saturday 9:00-12:30, to support the educational and research activities. Interlibrary book loan is actively implemented through the interlibrary loan system of the National Institute of Information and through networks with other libraries. The library has made a reciprocal agreement for book loans with the Fukuoka City Public Library and offers library services to its citizens. With all the network computers available in our departments, the library and the information center, users can easily find the books and journals which we and other university libraries possess, via on-line search engine.
Learning commons: it brings services that support students work together.
We have three network computers and wireless network service at Learning Commons, located on the 9th floor outside the library.
