Department of diagnostics and general care consists of two sections, section of anesthesiology and section of image diagnosics, which relates with every department and plays the important role as a central section of the institute and the hospital. Most staff members hold joint positions in the section and the clinic in Fukuoka Dental College Medical and Dental Hospital (department of anesthesia and department of radiology). We provide dental students and postgraduate residents with education about foundation of patient management, emergency care, radiographic imaging and diagnosis required as a dentist. We support not only other departments in our hospital but also private medical or dental offices in the community in clinical services and research.
