About Us

Fukuoka College of Health Sciences

Fukuoka College of Health Sciences belongs to The Educational Foundation, Fukuoka Gakuen and is located inside the same campus as Fukuoka Dental College in Fukuoka, Japan. This College has two departments: the Department of Dental Hygiene and the Department of Health and Welfare. Both departments are making every effort to produce professionals who can play a leading role in each field. In addition, the Department of Dental Hygiene has a postgraduate program and offers a Bachelor of Oral Health Science to Students who finish this course.

Oral Care training is one of the main educational programs for both departments, which ensures the elderly avoid suffering from aspiration pneumonia. Students also have training to acquire oral care skill at the Health Care Facility for the Elderly “Sunshine City” and Special Nursing Home for the Elderly “Sunshine Plaza” in the same campus. Both departments have a 100% placement rate.
