Dr. Masahiro Yoneda graduated from Kyushu University in 1987, and was awarded his Ph.D. from Kyushu University in 1991. While he belonged to Kyushu University, he did a research work in the United States. From 1992 to 1993, he worked at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Then, he moved to State University of New York at Buffalo, and worked there for a year. After coming back to Kyushu University, he worked as a specialist in periodontology. In 2004, he moved to Fukuoka Dental College (FDC) and worked as a general dentist. FDC established a satellite hospital, the Center for Oral Diseases in 2011, and he moved to this hospital as a professor. In 2014, he returned to FDC main campus as a professor of general dentistry section.
