He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Fukuoka Dental College in 1996 and was awarded Ph.D. in 2000. He then worked as an assistant professor. He was promoted to a lecturer in 2006.
He gives lectures on fixed, removal prosthodontics and teaches basic processing techniques.
As for clinical training, he focuses on communication and behavior skills as well as operation techniques.
His research interests have been in mechanical stress on hard tissue since graduate school. Today, he is approaching from molecular biological point of view to mechanical stress on periodontal ligament.
At clinics, his primary importance is to recognize the needs of patients, and to improve their quality of life through recovering functions of mastication.
