The Section of Biomaterials aims at being engaged in research on biomedical engineering (tissue engineering, biomedical materials and devices). This section at present has one lecturer, who belonged to the Bioengineering Section before. In education, this section takes charge of teaching Physics and computer skills in the general subjects, and teaching introductory dental engineering (dental materials and devices).
1) Application of carbon nanotubes on hyperthermic treatment for cancer therapy.
2) Fabrication of carbon nanotube-based heating device for tissue healing.
3) Preparation of smart-guided carbon nanotube-based complex to targeted proteins (carbon nanotube-specific antibody complex preparation).
