ANAN Hisashi, DDS Ph.D

He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Kyushu University in 1981. He worked as an assistant professor at Kyushu University, a lecturer at Kyushu University and came to Fukuoka Dental College in 2006. He mainly gives lectures on Endodontology and Cariology, and aims to deliver easy-to-understand presentations for students.
He has conducted research on the destruction and healing mechanisms of apical periodontitis, and osseous cells, immune cells, cytokine and dynamic analysis of cells that produce growth factors. Today, He directs research on regeneration of periodontal tissue and dentine.
Apart from general dental treatment, he examines many patients with refractory apical periodontics referred from other hospital and clinics.
